Lights! Action! Camera....(gone!)
Some months ago whilst loading an update to skype, I lost the functionality and seemingly the drivers for my Sony Desktop Vaio (windows7) camera. Has this happened to anybody else, who has cured the problem, or can somebody suggest an easy (and hopefully free) fix?

Sony's European website doesn't offer the downloads. The US website does, but the download (despite claiming to be windows 7) fails with a message that the download is vista. The PC has a partition backup and didn't come with a CD. There doesn't appear to be any simple way of re-installing the camera driver without returning the computer to factory set up.
I was hoping somebody had experienced this before, and had found a strightforward fix that I hadn't been able to find by googling.
