Cut and paste

Gentlemen!

A strange problem, more frustrating than anything. When using Hotmail and I try to cut /copy using the 'command c' in mac OS X, instead of the usual copying of highlighted text, a drop down menu appears regarding catagories within the Hotmail inbox....I've had to forward the mail to another mail address and from there do a cut and paste. This didn't seem to be the case before, as far as I can remember. Any ideas ?

Thanks

SHJ

Instead of using 'command-c' have you tried highlighting the text you want and then right-clicking on the area highlighted, and then selecting 'copy'?

They probably have Javascript firing on the keypress and displaying the CSS menu.

For example, when I'm logged into my webmail at work, with the webmail as an active screen, if I cmd-n, I get a new message window rather than a new browser window. This is down to javascripts picking up the key combination.
