Never ventured into this forum before....

I have just got an iphone 4. There are several PDF files on my laptop (windows)that I would like to put onto my iphone though haven't a clue how to transfer them.

Any help ? Thx

Hi Buzz.

Not possible just to email the offending pdf's to your email account and then look at them from there?

or ibooks

iBooks: Viewing, syncing, saving, and printing PDFs on iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Hope that helps

Go to the Apple Store and get the free "USB Disc" installed on you phone. Connect to itunes and open the app section for your phone, scroll to the bottom and find USB Disc. Open it and drag and drop away.

Why not simply email, bluetooth or drag and drop them via a cable connection to the phone and open them with a PDF reader of your choice?

In iTunes select your iPhone in the left pane, then select Apps across the top. Near the bottom is file sharing between your iPhone and your computer. Then sync your iPhone to push the files to it.

Or, you could just email your PDF to youself and save them to iBooks or the PDF app.... it's not very elegant but it gets the job done quick.

Cool

or use dropbox, they can be viewed from any device as the files are in cyberspace somewhere and don't require any space on your devices.

Only an Apple device could complicate such a simple requirement!

Re: Transfer PDF files to my iphone

You will need a tool to help you do this.
Personally, I transfer files from PC to iPhone over WiFi by using this app: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/ifil...690442933?mt=8
