Angel Using a CD track as a mobile ringtone

Hi,
I wonder if anyone could tell me if its possible to use a track from a CD as a ringtone on a mobile.
I understatand that the size would have to be converted or altered in some way.
Thanks.

Depends on what phone you've got.

Most Sony's and Nokia's allow you to upload MP3 files from your computer onto your phone, with some handsets allowing you to use this as a ringtone.

There's a piece of software in the free list called Audacity (as well as others). I used this to edit a track down to a usable size then export it as an MP3. It was then usable on a Nokia and an LG.
