Slow/incomplete loading Pages

For the last few days Pprune has been "odd" whilst loading pages. Running XP with Firefox.

When I request a new page it seems to load as normal but rarely completes loading.
Usually he status bar of Green squares does not completely fill and the message" waiting for www.pprune.com is displayed.
The only way to clear it is to hit the "stop" icon or request a new page

Or as I type this the message is" Read page2.googlesyndication.com"

Was using IE6 at work today with no problems, nor does the issue arise with other sites.

Running XP with Opera and nothing of that nature.

Sounds like Firefox being the problem. Try uninstalling/reinstalling it, or try Opera (I have both here).

Might be unlinked...

But the last two evening, i have been having issues loading PPRUNE and a number of other websites...

Some loaded as quick as usual, but some websites, inc PPRUNE, just refused to load...

Strange, but maybe unlinked...

Rebooted the router, and all worked fine...

Unsure, if it was the router, why it was allowing some pages but not the others...

A year or so ago I was plagued with a similar problem.

Disappeared instantly when Danny suggested a firmware check/update for the Belkin wireless router.

Always worth a look.
