PC monitor connectors

I wonder if there are any connector gurus out there who can help???

A while back, I decided it would be a good idea to connect my PC (in my bedroom) to my tv (in my lounge). Keyboard, mouse and sound connectivity weren't a problem... and after a bit of searching on eBay, I found the answer for connecting the tv, too - I bought a VGA-RGBHV cable. The 7m long cable I needed to get from the bedroom to the lounge was not cheap, but it worked perfectly.

Then my tv broke, and I've replaced it with a different brand. Only problem is my new tv does not have RGBHV connectors. Instead, it has a standard monitor connector.

I have searched everywhere obvious for a converter which will take my RGBHV cable and allow me to plug it into the SVGA connector on the back of my tv, but not had any joy.

Does anyone know of such a connector??? Or an alternative would be a 7m monitor cable, which I also can't find.

Thanks for any pointers in the right direction!

Sometimes the answer is so obvious you don't think of it yourself. The word "long" was missing from my searches!

I'd still prefer to find an adaptor for my existing cable, so if anyone knows of one (or a magic word I can put into Google that I haven't thought of!) please let me know. Otherwise, the 10m cables look like they will be a perfect second choice for the job.

MacBoero,

That's done the job perfectly, thanks!

(Once again, it was the obvious that I was missing. I was looking for just one cable, it never occured to me to use the gender-changers.)
