Angry Dell boot up...

Dell GX260 added new HDD and now get a message during boot "....strike F1 to boot..."
Have messed around with the start sequence and what I have done hasnt made a bit of difference.

The "F1 to continue" should follow another message that says more about what's wrong - it doesn't tell us what's happened...

Including the well thought out "Keyboard error, press F1 to continue"

I'm amazed we haven't had any "get a Mac, that'll fix everything" posts in this thread...

Ahhh, perhaps

All sorted thanks
Is a euphemism for "I've just bought a Mac..."

Perhaps we shall never know!

The onscreen message was
"Hard disk read failure - No bootable devices - Strike F1 to Retry boot, F2 for setup utility"

I got into the set up and buggered around with something I cant remembry what ....and its working fine.
