EFB and JeppView v2

I might be duplicating, but this is a specific request.

I see to use the current JeppView 3.2 on a Universal CDU, I am told this will only run version 2 data discs.

I see no reason to subscribe to Jepps for the office on 3.2, and asperate sub for 2.0 for the aircraft.

Creative solutions please.
