Raid Tool?

Hi
Since the computer was fixed after a crash, something called a raid tool appears on start up.

I can't seem to install some of my graphics programs after a recent file corruption, and was wondering if this raid tool has anything to do with this - is it anything to do with registry protection?

Does anybody know how I can remove it, or stop it initiating?

Kind regards

RAID is disk-related - did you have your hard drives set up in any form of RAID? Mirroring or striping? Hardware or software RAID?

If a RAID array was broken, the RAID tool may need to be run to bring a disk set back to life.

Just a thought.

Have you looked to see if 'Raid' has been 'enabled' in CMOS - normally in 'Integrated peripherals'?
