Hi guys,
I've got a gift of an Ipod, and am busy transferring my CD collection to the laptop, and onto the Ipod.
What happens if I plug my Ipod into another computer - will I lose everything? Also, can i download a cd to it from another computer without itunes loaded?

Miles,
In the iPod preferences within iTunes, set it to "Manually Manage" the library onto the iPod. This way, it won't delete music when you connect to other computers.
You have to go through iTunes in order to put songs onto the iPod.
