Daltonism at Copa Airlines

Hi Guys..
I would like a help here about Copa Airlines Aplication.
I’m color blind, and I don’t know what kind of test they use to do “eye vision” in Panama to get class 1 medical certificate.
I’m from Brazil, and here they accept this “problem” , but I have to know “all the colors sepparetly”. And that’s fine for me!
I wanna know, if a color blind pilot fly there, and how is the test!
Thank you so much.

Hey bro,

I don't if you are already in Panama, but around here on the initial medical certificate you do the Ishihara test and basically if you have problems to identify some of the plates you will be submitted to another kind of test to identify the colors separately. From what I know, the color blind test is only in your first exam, usually in the following ones is not required.

Fly safe!
