The Insel Air Blog

I wanted to start a new one as they are planning some significant expansion!

Apparently they only hire into the F50 then you move up to the F70 or MD80.

I do not know what the pay is for Capt, what the benefits are, the cost of living on the islands and what tax you must pay? Where is the F50 school held and does the company provide uniforms.

Please chime as this may be the best kept secret now. Oooopsss!

Thank you.

Yikes

I got my answer! Low pay and high taxes! How and where they are getting people is beyond me. An F/O is Oz or EU makes more on the F50 than Capt at Insel. It looks like a nice job but you could not live on the pay in the Antilles.
