Hi everyone there!!!

Does anyone of you have some info about this cia. called DAE based in dutch antilles, aircrafts, rosters, payments, etc, etc, ....
They offer to finance yourself a TR in case you do not have one which fits woth the fleet they fly, are they serious? I do no want to lose more money than the necessary.

Currently they operate 3x ATR42's. They operate just a couple of routes... Curacao, Bonaire, Aruba, St. Martin and Valencia. As I understand it's good fun flying for them. Heard something of jets (F70/100?), and expanding so it looks good you would say. They're looking for ATR, Fokker Capt's and F/O's. Type-rating costs varies for type of aircraft. PM me if you would like some more details. Overall it seems a good company, in a wonderful environment...and of course you'll be flying!

Good luck guys

Also, does anybody know where selections take place? While I wouldn't mind working there , getting the necessary time off and going there at my expense just for an interview and a couple of technical exams is a bit naff... then again, if it's done in the Netherlands, it's another matter!

It has been mentioned they do a Jeppesen Airway Manual test... what's that? Anything to do with the JAA ATPL Flight Planning exam? They also say the selection process CAN include a sim check ride; is it only for non-type rated applicants or for everyone? Anybody knows on what sim?

Thanx for the answers!

They also ask for a 10,000 Euro/3 year-bond for type-rated applicants... How they can justify that I don't know!

Cheers

I just received an email on friday night.

The Fokker course starts on April the 10th and the ATR course starts on April the 20th. and also received some info about where to put the money in case I accept the conditions. Maybe it's quite interesting if nothing else.
But I think it can be quite precipitated, the first course starts in less than one week.

Greetings.
Atila.

That sounds a bit strange!I thought they were supposed to do assesment tests and interviews.Did you guys do any of these? It just seem to me strange that they expect a guy that they have never seen to send him a contract, ask him to put money into their account and send him for training with such short notice!
