Instructor Course in Canada
Hello Everybody,
I have done CPL/IR license from Pakistan and my nationality is Pakistani.
Firstly, I want to do Flying Instructor Course from Canada and along with it also want to convert my Pakistani CPL/IR license to Canadian CPL/IR license. Can any one tell me the whole process as what I have to do for it?
Secondly, I wanted to know if I do Flying Instructor course from Canada, will I get the Flying Instructor job in any flying academy or anywhere in Canada. My main to reason to do instructor course is to get job in Canada in order to build my hours.

You could possibly ask a school to put together a custom course for you (more than just a CFI course) that's over 8 months in length, although obviously that will be a lot more costly.

Well he'll need to convert his foreign CPL/IR and the do the FI , with the weather and getting use to everything it could take well over 8 months,
Lots of hiring for new Class 4s now, getting a work permit shouldn't be too difficult. Good luck

A typical CFI course takes 6 weeks or less to complete full time. One can't just "drag it out" to 8 months for visa purposes.
Immigration & Citizenship Canada wont even issue the required Student Visa (> 8 months) unless the flight school provides an official letter of acceptance stating a course length longer than that, and the student provides banking info guaranteeing the funds for tuition / flight hours plus living expenses for the stated course length.

Many years ago doing my class 4 in Canada because of weather I flew twice in Jan , maybe three times in feb and finished up my rating in April . Took a while to get my ride scheduled with TC.
You are correct , dragging it out for visa purposes is not allowed and is unethical
