Is it still a hard landing if you destroy both engines?

This is Air Canada. If the plane burns, it's a crash. If it doesn't, it's a hard landing.

The subject flight, EV7804, a Beech 1900D, was providing regional air service on behalf of Air Canada. EVAS Air of Gander is a contracted tier III carrier for Air Canada.

Air Georgian of Toronto also operates a tier III air service for Air Canada through primary hubs located at CYYZ and CYYC, with a secondary hub at CYUL.

How annoying then that the media keeps calling it an Air Canada Express flight. Did their boarding cards have Air Canada Express or EVAS on them?

Last sentence from your wiki:

When an aircraft has a hard landing, it must be inspected for damage before its next flight.

Thank goodness, eh?

Ya think that big logo on the side of the aircraft might have something to do with it? You were expecting them to notice the EVAS logo? Now that is asking too much...
