Flying commercial fixed wing from rotary

I was wondering how easy/hard is to transfer from a CPL(H) to ATPL(H) provided many hours are on a helicopter.

Would companies like Air Canada/Westjet consider pilots with 1000+ hrs on rotary?

Would the chances to be hired as a FO be better vs a typical someone who built his hours as an instructor to pursue the major airliners?
