Good Evening All:

Seems like Big Red had a very good year.

Looking forward to seeing how Team Teal does as well.

Finally after years of problems airlines are making money again!

Hmm let's see. Does it have anything to do with low cost jet fuel, baggage fees and refusing to get rid of the fuel surcharge! Ya the green team with do just as well if not better for the same reasons. Screwing the customers is what it's all about!

I trust that you feel the same about all companies that make a profit. Or is charging enough to be profitable just bad if it is an airline?

Steamer 100, the price of jet fuel did not come down untill after the fourth quarter results were tabulated for both West Jet or Air Canada so your post simply has no validity, the real problem for the airlines in Canada these days are the sky high airport/security/airways fees, in fact two US operators have pulled out of one Eastern destination sighting just this problem.
