What's the latest with the Porter CS100 order?

Title says it all. Has the Toronto City Council set a date for making a decision yet? What probability would you give to such a measure actually passing? Has Porter made an effective case considering the smallish noise footprint of the CS100 or have the tree huggers won the communication battle?

Would be nice to see a CS100 in Porter colours if Bombardier could actually finish the testing someday...

Its not the tree hugers who are the problen, its the wealthy ocupants of the waterfront condos, you know, the same bunch who did their best to cause a recesion, but for Mr Flaraty they would have gotten away with it, just like on Wall Street. On a more serious note, I dont think you will see much going on till some spare money is found by Porter, I dont see folks rushing to buy his real estate at CYTZ, time will tell.

Mayoral elections are going on in Toronto at present. The outcome will likely affect the decision on Toronto Island airport expansion. But, as Clunck says, the condo conspirators may toss a wrench into the decision either way.

The CSeries updates can be found here.
Chuck Ellis gives a nice brief presentation on the fly-by-wire.
