YYZ winter ops review complete.

So the GTAA released the findings of the study on their winter ops after the SNAFU earlier in the year when YYZ was ground stopped in bad weather.

TORONTO PEARSON - Your Airport, Your Say

The main highlight for me is communication as I said at the time, it was poor.
I am interested to see how they can "improve" snow clearing operations because I still maintain that Pearson does winter snow clearing better than any other SIMILAR AIRCRAFT MOVEMENT airport in the world. I only emphasise that because most people seemed to think that Winnipeg and Edmonton could handle 120 movements an hour in the same weather conditions YYZ had the night of the groundstop.

Anyway...will be interesting to see what comes to fruition for next winter.
