Thumbs up Australian Seeking Advice

I hold an Australian CPL but wish to gain employment in Canada. Can anyone tell me what costs are involved in converting licences and what employment opportunities are like.

You might get a few more answers by asking your question on one of the Canadian forums. A good one, but you have to dig your way through it a bit is:

http://www.aviatorselect.com/cgi-bin/ubb/ultimate.cgi

or
http://www.harvair.mb.ca

Hope this helps. Good Luck.

Trust me, if you want the best chance of getting a job of any sort in aviation stay in OZ. Canada is much worse at the moment.
