Question Who is hiring?

I know we all keep hiring info pretty guarded unless we already have the job that we want, so I'm asking those of you in your "happy place" to pass on any good "gen".
Personally I am a 2000TT military pilot and I am looking for a decent job and I have had my sights set on Air Canada Regional. Any poop out there on their hiring?
None of the "discount" airlines seem promising since they demand anywhere from 3000 to 5000hrs min.
I am wondering how long all the airlines can keep up their expansion without lowering the bar somewhat.

Unhappy

corman,

Last I heard, some guy just got on with Canadian Regional out of Vancouver with 1200 hrs. It seems that the regional requirements are starting to come down.

You could try Air Nova they take people with around 2000 hrs. all the time and some time they even get the dash 8. Royal seems to be looking for people as well and someone I know got a job on ther 737 with 2400 hrs. My best gess is call all the people you know in those airlines and ask them for updates and news or even better a little push....

It's the same in the heli world - people just seem to want guys with everything on their licence and won't even listen to a couple of hours top up here and there - however, they're going to have to change that attitude very soon.....

Cool

I'm with Panama J ... AC is set to up its pilot intake again which will bring the all TT requirements down to a more realistic level. Corman, you sound like a prime candidate for the regionals with AC as your end game in a year or two. Call all your friends and network yourself a job. Good Luck. 88
