Canada The great white north. A BIG country with few people and LOTS of aviation.

Greenwood Flying Club

Hi

I'm looking for anyone who did their flying training at the Greenwood Flying Club while it was still located in No. 2 Hangar at C.F.B. Greenwood.

I did my training there from September 1973 to March 1974. I started my multi there as well.

Back in those days the costs were:

C-172 Skyhawk - $13.00 an hour dual / $11.00 an hour solo

C-150 Aerobat - $11.00 an hour dual / $9.00 an hour solo

C-150 Commuter - same as above

PA-23-150 Apache - $45.00 an hour dual / $38.00 an hour solo

Cheers...Chris
