Westjet kicks passenger for using washroom
Having acute diarrhoea doesn’t seem like a great condition to be flying in as an individual and does present a hygiene and comfort issue for both crew and other passengers. She could easily have become dehydrated to the point of collapse leading to a diversion etc.
HOWEVER; an ill person should be treated with an appropriate level of empathy and respect which may not have occurred here. I agree with the decision to offload her.
AND the petty jobsworth tyrant(s) on the ground threatening her and intimidating her is(are) are completely out of order and should be appropriately spoken to and/or disciplined if required.

Once had similar flying back from Berlin, on a Air Berlin, where after the Scottish Football Team has been ( humiliated ) by the home team most of the passengers were rebelling and claimed their FREEDOM .. however the CC did t see the funny side of it, they were probably Lithuanian... And refused to fly us back to the UK unless we quietened down.... Eventually a compromise was reached and we flew with a couple of Berlin's finest, pistols well in sight. ..
However back the lady in question, yes the sheep should've belted in while the fasten seat belt signs are on etc but the crew and ground agents could have offloaded the pax and bags and got them to pay for new tix when better...after all it's not the airlines fault the pax was unwell.
SWIMBO and i were In Las Vagas and the day before our 10 HR flight to Gatwick she came over with the trots etc and I spent the morning of our flight getting a local doc to certify she was fit to fly and the crew were requested to allow her to use the loo if needed during the t/o if needed with no liability to the airline.... Hold in in luv were my parting words to her upon boarding..

Had the trots about to leave Mombasa for Nairobi. Sorted mine out, Wife not so lucky. She was allowed to stay in the loo for the landing. Kenya Airways flight attendant was lovely and understanding.
