That's not a Flight Simulator. Probably a Cabin Trainer

We always get briefed about what to do if that happens - escape ropes if the sim stays up on jacks etc.
Hopefully everyone got out of it safely, unlike this accident https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2014_W...King_Air_crash
- how unfortunate, to get killed in an aircraft accident, while in a simulator........

I've seen them 45 deg nose down when the building power failed.

Must be lots of fun waiting and waiting for ladders as the rest of the building evacuates for tea and biscuits

Had an F-111 sim have an unplanned 'cockpit smoke' malfunction many years ago. The crew in the box had started to run the appropriate checklist for cockpit smoke for some reason, and when one of them commented on the realism of the simulation, the instructor twigged what was going on and told them to evacuate, pronto!

No one hurt and minor damage to the trainer.
