STN accomodation

Hi,

I will be EZY (5/4/5/3) STN based and would like to know if it is realistic to chose an accomodation near The City (Liverpool Street Station) to commute especially during your earlies.

In the other case what are the nice areas to live in near STN airport when you have a car?

Thanks

Accommodation for Paris CDG

Looking for cabin crew who either already have accommodation near Paris CDG or are looking for someone to collocate with...I'm new entrant cabin crew with easyJet and REALLY need to find somewhere to live near the airport. If anyone has any suggestions, please please let me know.

Thanks, Kate.

fish an easy LHR access flat, for you?

Hi Christin,

Are you still looking for a flat near lhr? I'm cc with Qantas, 26 years old and have a flat in Acton Town, which might be what you're looking for.

For a year, I lived in Colnbrook with great access to work (only 10 mins to lhr), but I felt somewhat isolated, living so far from anything else.

Finally, in December, I bought a flat in Acton and life is so much better. We're 25 mins by tube to lhr and about the same if you drive, on the A4. We're only 5 mins. away from Chiswick (which has large Sainsburys and loads of lovely shops) and Acton Town tube is a 3-4 min. walk from our flat. We often do communal supermarket runs as at the moment, I'm the one with a car. There's also a Morrisons and an Iceland in Acton Town. And we're only 10 mins to Ealing where there's REALLY good shopping.

It's a 3 bedroom flat on the top floor of a 3-4 floor building and you'd be sharing with me and one other girl who is a full-time nanny, working locally for an Australian family. Your's would be a large double room with double bed, available end Feb, beginning March.

There is a large lounge with large balcony (will be great in summer-BBQs) and Kitchen with Huge fridge and separate freezer, microwave, smoothie blender, toaster etc etc, washing machine, built-in clothes lines & tumble dryer. The bathroom and toilet are separate and i have a great power shower..with unlimited hot water. We've got TV & DVD plus a good WIRELESS BROADBAND connection

As Qantas crew, I only do long-haul, so I'm away alot, but when I'm here, it's great to be able to get into central London by tube whenever I want to. It's quick and easy by tube. From Colnbrook, it took me 2 hours by public transport!!!!

I just discovered we're only 5 miles from Ikea, which by the way, I am slowly but surely using to decorate the flat. Your rent of 550/month includes all bills (e.g. electricity, gas, council tax, internet connection,

Flats nearer to lhr may be a bit cheaper but you're stuck in the areas that surround lhr, which aren't particularly nice. I know, I searched for weeks and weeks before I found a nice one, and it wasn't that much cheaper. So, come and introduce yourself. It'd be great to meet you.

Please call me 07956 29 00 89 or email me at [email address]

Best regards,
EXEK or Qantas UK girl

Hi,

We are approximately 12 miles (an easy cross country drive) from Luton Airport, situated in a rural village.

We offer aircrew accommodation on a regular basis and have enjoyed having pilots and cabin crew here from Monarch, Easyjet and Silverjet. Currently have a regular from Monarch who's been here almost a year, so I guess we can't be that bad.

Single room rates are normally £25 for the first (or single night) and £20 thereafter for consecutive nights. This includes evening meal plus light serve-yourself breakfast if required. Tea, coffee, TV and internet connection in each room plus use of a separate guest lounge/diner.

If you want to book a block of five weeks we'd be happy to do so for £20 per night.

If interested please call 07899 864108

Nice lhr area

Hi!

I would say avoid Southall, Hounslow, Stanwell and Feltham. Anywhere else is ok. If you want nice.. you have kingston.. but for 6 weeks it will take you ages by car or by bus to get there .. loads of traffic. Staines is not bad., very cute by the river.. and big shopping mall.
It depends if you drive.. then you are ok.. there is beautifull places around lhr... but I wouldn ' t recommend to live there .. 6 weeks.. you will hate the traffic!
Make sure you see where you ll be staying.
Hope it helped.
