Barajas itself is cheap for Madrid as its a bit in the sticks but good for the airport. Canillejas is also out in the sticks by the airport and cheap. If you want something slightly more up market but equally in the sticks, the area around Mar de Cristal is more expensive.

Rome Ciampino - Cheap Accommodation?

Hi guys,

I'm with Ryanair and will be doing my line training at Ciampino for about two months. If anyone has any recommendations for cheap accommodation in the area I would be very grateful for the info!

Thanks.

Two bedroom detached property on private riverside estate

Available from 01.01.09 - £799 per month.

The property is very basic and dated, and is in need of decoration. Idealy, it's suitable for a DIY enthusiast or a builder, which in turn is reflected in the rent sought.

Anyway, the property is a gas centrally heated detached bungalow, located in a cul-de-sac on a private colony beside the River Thames, in Shepperton, Surrey. Property backs onto Shepperton marina and a world renowned swan sanctuary. Ample attic storage space. Much parking space on private road.

It's uncarpeted and will be leased as unfurnished, though there are some minor items of furniture, as well as a double bed, microwave and an electric cooker. I have no idea if the electrical items work.

As stated, the property is basic, i.e., a dated kitchen/bathroom (no shower) but the tenant will be free to do as he/she wishes, as long as the walls remain. In November 2007 a new gas boiler which meets the new EEC requirements, was fitted at a cost of £2,800.

Shepperton - an overgrown village nestled in a bend of the River Thames - is within the M25, five miles from Heathrow, 35 miles from Gatwick. LGW often quicker to get to. Easy access to M25 (junctions 10 and 11) and both the M3 and M4. London Waterloo is a 45 minute rail journey away; same time to central London by car via the A316. Film studios, a five minute drive away; village high street, pubs, etc., less.

Nearest large shopping areas: Kingston, Staines and Woking. Supermarkets: Sainsbury's at Walton-on-Thames and Chertsey; Tesco at Sunbury Cross, Brooklands and a superstore branch at Addlestone. Weybridge has a Waitrose.

Monthly rent in advance, plus one month rent held as deposit. I'll take care of paying an annual residents association fee, leaving tenant with council tax (Borough of Elmbridge), routine service bills including water (property is water metered) and optional domestic bills; contents insurance, tv licence, etc.

A very quiet location within a small friendly community. Local hotel, two minute walk away, offers favourable gym/swimming pool, etc., membership concession to estate residents.

Opportunity for tenant to sublet second bedroom. I care not.

Angel Homeless Virgin!

Hello guys and girls,
My name is Chris and I am in desperate need of a place to live close to LHR.
Currently live in Crawley next to LGW with another CC for VS but it hasn't worked out as well as I'd hoped and Crawley is the most boring place on Earth lol!
I'm looking for a crew share thats less than 20 mins from LHR if possible. Would LOVE to live with other Virgin crew cos I'm sorta shy at first but I'm desperate at the moment as I have monthly standby in April.

Very friendly, clean, non-smoker, 20 year old and originally from Manchester so I couldn't bear to commute anymore, especially on BA !

Please please get in touch as my lease runs out in about a month so Im startin to get desperate.
Thanks lovelies x

Room to rent in Cheadle very close to MAN Airport.

Hi Everyone

I have a room to rent in a 2 bed Victorian house in Cheadle. Very close to Manchester Airport and the ALTEON TRAINING CENTRE where Jet2 will be doing their training this summer.

The house is close to local amenities and you would be sharing with 2 other male Crew members. 1 works at MAN and the other commutes to LHR.

The room is a double room and you will have the use of the whole house. The price will include wifi internet access all bills except the phone.
The price is £350/month.

If your interested please send me a PM.

Furnished double room to let in rural location in West Sussex. 15 mins south of LGW, easy access to both Brighton and London but own transport is a necessity. Use of all usual facilities including internet. Must be OK with cats and someone with horse experience would be a bonus! Smokers welcome.
£375.00 p/m inc

PM if interested
