Angel Reapplying after knockback

Hi Everybody,

Was just interested to hear if anyone here or anyone you know of has reapplied to an airline straight after being knocked back.

Most have a waiting period of 6 months and I was thinking if you applied again in only 3 months would they know?

Do you think they would see this as being keen and dedicated or annoying and rude?

Thanks for your info.

Cheers to you all.

Hmmm it's hard to say.

I think it depends on a lot of things.

E.g, how far through the interview process you went. Maybe it is more noticable if you have progressed to the final stages than being knocked back during first round, you may be able to slip back in when they next recruit without them noticing.

Also if the recruitment teams are the same.

In the case of MAM - given the huge numbers of people they have been inviting to interviews I would say your chances are good of going through again without them picking up on it. I know of a case that highlights this where a candidate went, was unsuccessful and then invited back again a week later. Indidcates their recording maybe a little disorganised.

Anyway I would re-apply, the worst thing that can happen is they say "We have already interviewed you, you need to wait 6 months" to which you can simply say, "Oh I'm sorry, I wasn't aware of that rule, thank you anyway".

No harm in trying.

Just my thoughts.....hard decision to make though.

I think you should wait at least 6 months. A friend a mine kept re applying with BA although you are supposed to wait a year before re applying again. He thought they would not notice but they did! Now they dont even reply yo him anymore, not even to say he is not invited for an interview, they are ignoring him or banning him, so to speak....

Unfortunately a case where honesty worked as a negative, I'm aware of someone who had applied to MAM and was knocked back, but for some reason MAM called them two months after inviting them to group interviews, this person told them they were knocked back two months earlier and because of that MAM then withdrew their invite, so...............
