Hi All

Being a new member to this site, I have noticed the whole hoopla about Emirates. Looks like many people are interested in working for them, world over. What perplexes me is that there are a few negative remarks from PAX. Read below and you'll get the picture...(it was on Epinions.com)

I am a Gold Skywards member with Emirates Airlines. I travel with them very often (obviously) but more often than not do not have the choice. I travel mainly in Business and Economy, with the odd upgrade to First! I am a White British Male, considered good looking, and when in Business or First, actually get embarressed by the Flirting done by the Cabin Crew (both male AND female). I have also whitnessed many incidents of passengers being ignored, treated like dirt and treated totally "second class" even in Business and First. I have heard comments to Business Class passengers like "So, do you work for the Airline in Mumbai" - as if the only reason they were there was because they knew someone! I have also heard comments like "WAIT, I am serving others first" as if they had to wait due to their colour. One person was asked to move (from First class - now i had been upgraded to first) without checking his Boarding Card. He soon came back, after being ushered into Economy. EK Crew, it's not about colour, class or wealth - it's about rights! For what ever reason we travel with you, and in which ever class - treat us all the same. Oh and finally, YES I AM SINGLE, AND NO DEFINATLEY NOT INTERESTED IN TAKING SOME TROLLEY DOLLY OUT FOR A DRINK!!!!!!!!!! Jul 22 '03
