Wanting to become cabin crew, North-west airports, UK

Hi, my girlfriend is currently looking at becoming an air hostess but after searching around we havnt been able to find much information about how to get into it, what you need qualification wise, job vacancies etc.

I have been through this site quickly as it was recommended by a family member but cant find much info on what we need! If Im looking in the wrong place I appologise for asking for answers on things there are already posts on but any help would be greatly appreciated.

She is 21, lives in North West England, and is looking to find something in cabin crew, based at any of the NW airports (Blackpool, Liverpool, Manchester). Shes been working as a waitress at a restaurant for the past 5 years, has gained an NVQ in customer services, has her GCSE's, A-levels and A2's to a good standard and has always wanted to become an air hostess.

Can anyone please point us in the direction of what we need to be doing, where to look for vacancies and if we need to obtain some training/qualifications?

Cheers in advance.

Virtually all the information required is here in this forum - but you have to read it and do your own research Please come back when the research is done with more specific questions.
