Not sure but if youre internal then no because its already done

Oh just completed my security check but then also received an email saying I've been placed on active hold. Anyone else on same boat.

And also it says if 12 months passes I'll have to reapply? ...

Hi, I'm exactly the same! External application, AD, security checks cleared and received an email about active hold for 12 months!

Hi @littleturtle... yep in the same boat.

Just received the email today. Everything was moving so quick.. no its 'active hold' time.

Reapplying in after 12 months passes.. wow!

I'm External. AD on 6Jul17 for SYD base long haul received email today re active hold, 12 months. Were you from AD on 6Jul17?

Hi everyone. I am an external applicant that attended the MEL AD in June. I recently got all my 'green ticks' on my security clearance and also received the 'active hold' email today.

Seems that a lot of us internal and external are on active hold.
They are probably planning for more GS? There are many GS happening at the moment I guess HR was just updating us about our status right...?

I assume after those current GS they'll put us through next?

Hey MissDee88, I also attended the AD on the 6th Jul 17 for SYD Base Long Haul, Got the same email last night, hopefully we won't be waiting too long

I was at the AD on 6July in Sydney too. Got the on hold email yesterday as well I hadn't been through security though, just reference checks. Apparently this is very common from contacts I have in qantas. Very frustrating tho!!!
