Dicko 17 I am EXACTLY the same. Mine was about a month ago and still haven't heard a thing. What's the email address we can use?? The wait is so frustrating.

Dicko I wouldn't worry about one week! That's too soon. I haven't even contacted them and it's been nearly a month.
My refs were checksed right away but no word of medical. Don't stress. There's TOO Many applicants ATM.

Be yourself, they can tell. Dress the part, they like that. Smile mingle look through other posts they really really help, that's what I did and helped with nerves as you had a rough idea on what to expect. Good luck

Question.

It's been a month since my AD. I am not concerned about the wait at all.

Yet I was thinking of maybe emailing MAM just out of initiative and keenness.
Would they maybe like to see people take the initiative to email them re. Their position in the process or would they not see it like that at all.

I will probably get a standard answer email but can't hurt I guess. Nt fussed about the wait time although it would be nice to know something!

Sydneysider88,

I am in the same situation as you, and I did email them a couple of days ago. They replied right away, and I found out where I'm at.

Yes still waiting, and no haven't had the medical yet. You might as well - you've got absolutely nothing to lose.

Can anyone tell me, when do they check your swimming ability, is it during ground school? What is involved exactly, and is it very difficult?

GOOD LUCK and just as Marly said - be yourself They can tell when you're not. And the best thing that helped me was just to be friendly with everyone as you're all arriving and waiting to be invited in. You feel so much better, and then when they shift you around tables chances are you've already broken the ice with some of the other applicants - so you work together heaps better and don't stress as much Really worked for me x

What happened with Virgin, I thought you was in for the next ground school?
With MAM dress the part - when they say business attire wear it - they was a girl there in casual clothes and she wondered why she did not get a call back.
Mingle, smile heaps, talk to every one will help heaps with group activities and remember to talk add your two cents worth, say what your thinking about the situation.

Good Luck

For all you people waiting with MAM.

Got an email from them today, nearly a month after my AD.
Simply said they are still processing and carefully reviewing applications and there will and can be lengthy delays at this time. Blah blah, they will get back to me as soon as it jumps up in the process.

So don't you guys fret if you don't hear in a month or twos time! Even for a medical. Keep going with your jobs now and lives. Any contact is a golden bonus.
