Hello everyone, I need help 
I had my FI two weeks ago, and my status changed to 'Approval in progress', after that I received an e-mail and recruiter requested my medical report stating my visual correction and acuteness. I send that and nothing changed...
A lot of people from my group received they calls. So I wonder has anyone had similar situation and what happened after. Thank you.
I am so worried that my sight is not up to their standards because my visual correction is really high.

online application/ AIP / Reference?
Hi everyone for those who are asking about online application I can describe to you my situation and maybe it would help you.
I applied online a long time ago for the position cabin crew under vacancies and this one is always open and doesn't go away like the OD and AD posts. And I also applied for the OD online before I went. When my status changed to AIP both of them changed. So my point of view I think if you apply for any (OD or the open cabin crew position on vacancies) you can see changes.
I hope this helps.
Azzuro I hope you get the change soon, I don't know why some take longer than others but like people say before no news is good news.
My status finally changed to "you will be contacted.."! I keep checking to make sure I'm not seeing wrong!
Worry they take it back!
I want to ask does anyone know when they contact the your reference?
And For those who are still AIP mine took almost 2 weeks and people in my group already received GC and email from them so keep faith.

help- Advice
Hi everyone, a student planning to attend open day in Ireland. Put on some weight studying 
, (usually more active in sport). Are Emirates strict on this?
Also I can reach 212cm on my toes, with one hand at a time.
. Do you have to reach with both hands at same time & grasp something (or just touch it)???
Finally i don't finish college until end of May, would this be an issue?
Read posts about buisness style dress etc, any other advice??

ive had my FI in istanbul on 24th of january, however my application status is still Under Review..
i didnt get throw my FI on December 2010
but i tried 2 apply again in less than a year..so now i have cabin crew jobs with status "under review" with dates july, sept, and november( thats the 1 i was called for)
should i worry?
anyone who done the FI in istanbul?

attending an AD in Dubai
Hey everyone! I had received an invitation for an assessment day in my country but they ended up canceling so my application is still 'under review' and they haven't come back since then (over 9 months now) .. I am going to Dubai for vacation soon and wanted to know if I can attend an AD there. The only problem is that CV drop off in Dubai is only for Arabic speakers. Any ideas?

Ive done my FI on 8january, some of us had their GC yesterday, and the rest no news!! Im a bit stressed, i dont know if they close our case, do you think its over for us? My status still on under review, i dont know what does it mean, but that is killing me! If anyone can help me

I told them that i need 15 days notice,

Hi....I think that you should wait....my FI was on 27th of October and my GC was on the last week of November and I think that they inform everyone that the applicants will know the outcome of the process during the one month after the FI.....so good luck and hope i will see you in Dubai!!!!!

Selahadin, If you have already submitted the photos requested by them ( 6 Pass + 1 full length) then dont bother sending them anything UNLESS they ask you to. You're on your 2nd week now, I received my call on the middle of the 3rd week but it can actually take even longer than 4 weeks before you receive a call. But stay calm and collected

I don't remember if my status had changed....maybe it was UNDER REVIEW but from a point I was not able to login to my account and I could see a message that I will be contacted by the recruitment officer asap!!!!

Hey Emily! I attended the Open session in munich here in Germany and my FI interview was on the 11th of December. I got me GC on the 10th of Jan

Open Day
Hi everyone, I am new on this. I have just noticed that Emirates have some open days coming up in Ireland over the next couple of weeks
*excitment* ... I have never attended an open day for any airline as yet although I have wanted to on several occassions but work commitments always got in the way .......... I was wondering if any of you can give me a run through on what happens at the open days? and what to expect ? any information would be greatly appreciated.Thank You

Hi everyone!!!I have a guestion..I attended assessement day 22 of January and was unsuccessful. Today I got an e-mail with invitation to the next assessment day which will be 10th of March.That will be only 1,5 month since my last interwiew. I read here that I must wait 6 months but the recruiters have not said anything about that.So can I go or I should wait?

Hi is anyone having trouble with EK website?I am having techincal problems in which I cannot ammend or add details under education and Career page. I have to submit soon as I have my FI next week.I have logged a call since mid Dec 2011, but no one got back to my query. Really fustrated!Dont want to submit, as it looks unfinished, and they will think I have not bothered!
