Hello everyone,

I got my call yesterday.
They will send me the medical email by Sunday.
But next next week is our national holiday.
No one will be working in any clinic or hospital. whole week!
Who can I tell this to? The number which called me? Can I call back?
Or is there form I can download, so I can start this medical right now. So it will be finished next week?

What should I do??

HighFlyer those aren't bases they are just locations of recruitment. EK doesn't have foreign bases, only Dubai. Anyone telling/advertising otherwise is full of crap.

Best place for info on dates is the actual Emirates website.

I cant believe I missed the OD here in my city. I didnt even know it was happening. Oh well, Im going to go to the one in Washington, Dc. If anyone else is going from out of town or even from in town and wants to get together and tour the city together while we will be there and maybe have some dinner let me know.

Would be really cool not to be in the city all alone!

Unofficial Cut Off Age??

Hey All,

Having previously been Cabin Crew for BA and VS, I went into 9-5 work, but miss it sooooo much... like so many do..

I want to apply to Emirates later in the year, by then I will be 29

Anyone know if Emirates have an unofficial cut off age????

There is no indication that there is... but I know the UAE don't have the same anti-discrimination laws that other countries have

Hey,
Emirates has no age restriction. But the limit is 33-34 years old.
Many candidates were recruited in their early 30's
so don't worry!!

finally!

hey guys, i woke up this morning and logged onto ek careers page and it locked me out saying "your recruitment coordinator will contact you at the earliest." FINALLY! definatly relived!

To all those who have had their rejection emails, DONT GIVE UP, keep trying - even if you have to wait 6-12 months. i know it seems like forever but EK are always recruiting and if not EK then im sure another airline will be there that will take you.

and good luck to all those who are having their interviews or are in the waiting process. just remember ive waititng 9 weeks and i have previously read some people have been waiting much longer, dont lose hope and stay positive!
