Hi everyone,
I attended the FI at MAN in mid April, and found out 10 days later that I had been offered the job. I sent my medical exams to them within 5 days (by 1st May), but then didn't hear from them for 3-4 weeks. I then had to redo some tests as the doctors had done the wrong Hep A test and my audiogram wasn't correct. I then sent them the corrected results by the 4th June.
I then received the phone call from Avina on 14th June asking me to fly out to Doha on 20th June. Speaking to other people in my batch and from my expericence, it is normal to not hear anything for several weeks, then they'll ring you and give you 10-6 days notice.
I'm now 3 weeks into the training and I am really enjoying it. Yes, it is hard work and they are very strict, but the airline is striving for top quality so that's the way it works. If anyone has any questions about Doha and training with QR, Just email or PM me and I'll do my best to help!!
