Diploma

Usagi, are you sure that we don't need to translate our Diploma in english? I suppose we have to, as they won't understand Greek, Chinese or Thai Diploma.

I do translate my Diploma into English as usually QR would like to have all documents in english.

One trainee has been sacked for larking about with another trainee and refused to apologise when asked to do so by the instructor who went mad over it. After that one particular manager (SK) came into the classroom and said that if anybody did something like that again all of them would be sent home.

This is what you'll be joining. Enjoy!

hey there everybody,

i was just wondering... i had my final interview early april, got the congrats email 3 weeks later, sent medicals one week later, had to re-do some exams a couple of times and 3 weeks ago they asked for another CBC which i sent 2 weeks ago but i have not heard from them since then. I keep emailing them asking if they received my latest CBC and if they have any updates on my situation but i get NO ANSWER AT ALL. i was supposed to be in june. is anybody going through the same situation? or anybody knows what can be going on? any ideas what to do?? i am tired of waiting and not knowing when i will leave or if i will be going to doha at all....

thanks and good luck to all.

Hi Ppruners,

It seems to me that most of you who have been waiting for a long time had to redo some tests which might be a reason for the delay. Someone just got cleared in less than 2 weeks and is joining in Aug!

I just sent my meds off yday so I'm hoping that everything is fine and therefore don't get asked to redo some tests. As there seems to be a problem with them getting back to you sooner when that happens.

But don't worry guys! Here is to waiting and hoping that we all get there in the end.

Oh does anyone know how many Kilos (Luggage) are allowed when flying to Doha? Boy do I have a lot of stuff!

Its a lovely day out here today....bye!!

Medical Clearence

Hi guys, I am very proud to myself to be part of Qatar Airways... I dont wanna loose the chance to work as a cabin crew...

I have a question, are there someone who is waiting for medical clearence? I am a little nervous, they ask me to repeat my CBC, so i wanna know if someone took it already and if it was wrong again, will they give me medical clearence?

I am wondering that because i do not know if i am going to get the job now so please if someone is in a similar place let me know... good luck guys, and see you in Doha if we can...

Fabys

Sometimes they would ask you to take your CBC again if the counts are either abnormally low or high. They might ask you to do another test, after this one, to make sure that you are well and to see if it's a one off situation.

If your CBC counts are okay they will clear you medically.

Medical Clearence

Do you think if my CBC is out of normal again I can not get the job?
They are doctors they have to know that they are not normal values just a reference range, so if there are something abnormal they have to know that is ok... anyways I hope to continue talking with you guys if you are in the same position as me... and congratulations to all who got the medical clearence already... have a nice day
