Hi Guys!

I managed to find a private practice thats does everything for about £415 in birmingham so i don't have to travel to London. A lot of money, but I think its worth it because the pressure has just dissipated! Plus i get the all the results the next day.

I lost my purse that contains EVERYTHING today. Went back to the Aldi, Library and Surgery to check whether it was there. I was on the verge of tears when i found it in one of the kitchen cupboards. Yes! Thats how bad it got to me today.

Gosh! Definately, One of the most bizarre and hectic days of my life.

Am out like a light ppruners........

Zackira -
Good to hear that! Please don't forget to share with us the good news once your medical is cleared.... By the way i have a question to ask, did Qatar ask for the original school/college certificate? I only have the photocopied certificates with me cause i left the originals in my hometown. It has been so many years back since i graduated, my parents have misplaced the certs back in my hometown. Just wondering is this going to be an issue for me?

Sparkz08-
Thank you my dear

zackira - that's great news. Medicals can be a pain in the ****. I chased a few people around for it when I was doing mine. Anyway, don't stress out too much. You'll get through it.

cazzycazz - like what usagi said. They want to see the original copy of your highest (just the highest one) educational certificate and will ask for a photocopy of it.

rfzil - good luck. Let us know how it goes.

Usagi27 & SavinMe -

Thank you so much for your info, which means no matter how i will need to locate my lost certificate! Which is tough cause my parents moved house at least twice for the last decade! Anyways, appreciate your feedback and thanks!

Even if you have your original certificates you should never give them away as they are yours! You should only bring them and photocopies of them with you to the interview. They can see the originals to make sure that your photocopies are true but don't let them keep them.

That goes for any interview.

thanks girls... mwuuahs...

This is what happened. I attended the OD here in Philippines today, I think we're 2000 people or more. Like what I read here, there was 2 stacks of CVs. My CV placed in the lesser stack of file. Is it mean that I passed?? I dunno... I guess I have to wait for the call to confirm if I got through..(cross fingers) I'll let you know soon...

Medicals....

Hi all

After waiting for a week or so, I finally gotten the Congrats mail from QR and went on to proceed with my medicals..

My tests were all normal except for a comment on my xrays saying : Minimal Thoracic Scoliosis

So I was wondering if it is a serious problem? There wasno degrees of curvature mentioned in my report so I do not know what is my degree...I heard that QR take in maximum of 15 degrees right?

Pls help....very worried now

Thanks...

WFTG,

I have mild scoliosis also. I think you should go to see the orthopedic doctor. He could evaluate the degree for you. I think it's important to know the degree as Qr told me to do so. Maybe, you could go to see the doctor now if you don't want to wait.

Good luck

I'm currently a flight attendant here in the states, been flying for one year now, I really wanna apply for Qatar to get the international "bug" out of my system, see the world for one contract term and come back to the states, the thing is I'm 19 years old but it says you have to be 20. Do you think they MIGHT bypass this requirement, especially if you've been a flight attendant before?

might depend on how much youre lacking till 20. they cant bypass anything coz they have rules that ppl under 20 cant serve alcohol - but if youre like a couple months away from 20 they might say its alright (prolly coz the recruitment takes months)

i just sent my medicals in....the comments on the reports says MINIMAL THORACIC SCOLIOSIS....but there was no degree indicated....i went back to the clinic andpaid extra money to get them to measure the degree for me but the result will only be out 3 days later.... Im really crossing my fingers for the degree to be as low as possible....

lets hope we both and everyone who got this prob clear the medicals successfully....

*Cross Fingers*
