You could concentrate on your spelling and punctuation..........and then move onto the maths?

(re-read your post..........doh!!)

Good luck though ;-)

Hey HighFlyer,
Always be prepared to go to more than one cabin crew event...at least 10 maybe more until you get one...it's about timing as much as confidence...Depending on which Assessors are looking at you...some like confidence and some like the more conserved...
Some also go of maths more...it just depends on the day...believe me, i've had 9 assessments...girls who you think should have got the job but didnt...I'm not talking about easyjet as i havent been..but each recruiter regardless of airline has their different likes in a candidate...
But yeah just do the best you can... :o)

Its not me its the keyboard! Some of the buttons will need to take a harder tap than others. My spelling and punctuation are fine thanks. If you have anymore tips on what i could expect in the maths test then i would be very grateful. Many thanks again!

Many airlines are not recruiting at the moment so im not able to apply with more airlines. Another airline im also going to apply for is bmi. Im guessing that airlines will be recruiting again very soon as it is now a new financial year. Otherwise i would be applying for most airlines, also with some airlines you have to be 19 and 21 im 18 so im out of luck there. Thank for the advice. Much appreciated. x

HighFlyer15 - there is a huge amount of information in the official easyJet wannabees and recruitment thread located here. Have you checked it out?

Hey Highflier15, it's me Cereal again, (normal username) I think the do it in season...like the charters do around Sept/November...
If you dont get in right now, try Virgin fares and ticketing...or some type of ticketing in college...Travel And Tourism GNVQ isn't as good as I did that one...but fares ticketing is more specific to airlines i found

No worries, Thanks again. I thought id get the information from people who have had the experience. To me its the best advice getting it from someone thats been through it all themselves. x

BA should also be on your list. A great place to see the world.

Yes i know i would really like to work for them and because im so passionate about travelling and learning about the world i thought they would be the perfect airline to work for. I was going to apply with them but they are not recruiting, also im a bit reluctant applying for them in the future because its been mentioned quite alot that they are very strict on applicants education background with their english and especially maths. Im dyslexic and in my GCSE got an F but i resat that a year later and got a high E if that helps at all. But what i always say you will never know if you dont try. So as soon as they start recruiting again im in there. x

As CC your flight/sector pay will make up roughly half of your salary, so if you do not fly a lot, you will make less money. Stand bys do not attract flight/sector pay, but airport stand bys do as you are required to be at the airport in uniform. You will most likely fly 4-500 sectors per year with a few variations spread out over the year.

Gatwick Recruitment

I applied for Gatwick base about a month ago, i was offered an assesment date but couldn't make it as i was away, they were nice and offered me another date, but i couldn't make that either due to my current roster, and since then i've not heard anything. Does anyone know if there any assessment dates going on during May? I've just e-mailed the recruitment team again to see if there is anything in May as i'm still really interested (and a little bit jobless now my BA contract has ended!!!)

Also does anybody have a phone number for EasyJet Recruitment as I can't find anything on the website? Thought it might help if I spoke to them rather than go back and forth with e-mails.

I managed to get hold of a number and spoke to someone in the recruitment team. I now have an assessment date on the 26th May at Luton, although it is for Gatwick base.
