Hey Rarala, I applied for the LPL base about a week ago, but still haven't heard anything. Just wondering, how long did everyone have to wait for a reply?

Hi all,

I applied for the Manchester base around 4 months ago (just on the off-chance as they weren't actually recruiting for that base then!) and have received an invitation to an assessment day on 7th April in Liverpool. Anyone else going to this assessment?

There is no need for transport to the Academy from the Ibis, it's a nice 10 minute walk which will wake you up. If you time it right there is a shuttle bus that drives around the airport but tbh, you're better off walking.

Hey Luís, fellow portuguese friend! thinking bout working for Easyjet? I was actually thinking about it myself but it all comes down on chosing the right base to live/work. What's your choise on that? I'm still not sure bout paying to live elsewhere while on work...just don't know if it pays off at all.

I'm currently trying to go for the airlines in the middle east: Emirates, Etihad, Qatar. we'll see how it goes!

Hey Alkatifa!!

The base I chose to work/live was Gawtick because I already have a friend living there and working for EZY.
I'm just not sure if I have sufficient english to work there.

About paying to live in London to me its not going to be a problem because I already pay to live in Lisbon.

If you whant, add my mail on your msn. We talk better there.

That's good for you, having a mate already in London. Makes sense then. For me I would only consider Madrid or London, but I would need to pay housing which is really expensive in those cities. I know what u mean....living in Lisbon is not exactly cheap. I'm currently in Porto myself.

I will just try my luck first in the middle east and only if not successful would consider Easy, as Ryanair is a major f***up!
