Hey guys.. any idea who is this interview for?? it's taking place in London today..
I couldnt make it but might be given alternative date next week. Would love to know if it's wroth my time and effort. Currently flying for a small private operation but looking for a change.. and hopefully an improvement in my career..
Well if its taking place in london it could be anyone..so did you write to the address given by danielle-trolley? I am off to Geneva next week for an interview...but all will depend on salary etc. By the way does anyone have info on the best paying VIP\corporate flying compared to main line? I know netjets europe pay pretty well and Excujet also.
Just wondering if anyone can shed any light on which companies are best to apply to if you want to be based in the UK, but fancy trying the corporate side of things instead of Airline?
Already have 5 years experience with an airline and want to try someting different.
Salary working conditions
All depends on who/what your working for, is it corporate (ie owner) or is it charter. FTL, unless its charter they dont really exist, but some sort of duty day is involved.
Who's the best, well it all depends on who/what your working for, owner or charter, some cabin crew earn good money, some earn well lets face it a lot better than commercial.
Most of the jobs i'm affraid to say, go to friends of friends of people already doing it, its the nature of the game, very difficult to get into, but once your in you find out loads of other jobs going. Will you find out at interview who you would be flying if its private NOT LIKELY, unless they ask you to do a trial flight, lets face it if it was you, would you want everybody to know what your flying, its private and it stays private.
Experience a lot of companies look for minimum first/business / upper class experience, and ability to cost control as well, its about finding the best catering / equipment at the best price, not all about spending money.
Hope this info helps you girls/guys out, its very difficult to get into, but certainly a fantastic career move from airlines.
so i had my corporate interview and they offered a very nice package basically I work 15 days a month and get paid 4800euros. Not bad...but be to honest I did not get a nice vibe from them. They will be in contact with me well thats what they said. I have another interview coming up soon for Netjets they were much nicer and the phone interview was great. The lady was so cool I was shocked to hear back from them as they were not taking on crew until 2008 but they do pick out a few for interviews as they need only a handful of crew. Anyone know how is the interview in lisbon and their questions and salary. I need facts and not rumors please. With netjets you work 6on and 5 off and that is cool you also have 22 days leave but that all I know. Their website give you an idea of the salary but is that with or without daily allowance?
No it was for another one...Private air is not so private its just going and coming to newyork and doing a buisness class service and you must speak german as well and the pay is not good.
Eagle aviation is a charter airline..they fly out of france to jeddah and the pay is about 2000 euro per month but you only work 2 weeks a month. If you are based in Jeddah with them the contract is a little different they put you up in a shared appartment and I think the pay is less. I have a friend working with them based in jeddah and they like it. The best conditoins are if you live in france and fly to jeddah as you do some flights in jeddah and fly back to france and get 2 weeks off. Not bad...here is their website....
I heard there's a private jet of a business man in dubai looking for a crew, preferably with first class experience and an asian. I just sent my CV to . Hope it's something interesting.
Hi there...
I like to know if you are joining NAS for Netjets based in jeddah or Al-Khayala for Riyadh based.
Well I am joining the Riyadh based soon. Just awaiting for other crew member to finish with their visa so can start training in a team.
Anyway, ask anything... if i know i ll answer back.
HI,
Have got a job with Al Khayala in Riyadh have heard that they do not pay your salary on time. Would really appriciate any info you could give me with regards to the job as am still in two minds if I should take it. Thanks
me too... joining Al-Khayala soon. Yeah... i heard from a friend's friend that they are a very bad pay master. Myself, i am not sure about them at all. Well, to be honest... i really like the 35days on and 31days rotation. Thats the most attrative of all.
I ve been waiting long to start training... supposed to start training on 1st june. well, more than 2 months now not working and at home doing nothing. I managed to get my visa done only on mid june.(finally!) But now, they are telling me i just need to wait due to some others still on their final stage of processing their visa. As we need to start training in a group.
FYI, my interview with NAS was on March. Yeah few months back. i resigned and left on early may after a month notice.
so if you havent resign, my advice is... get everything together for the visa before resigning. this way, you still get paid from current company and so at least you wont be like me sitting at home and doing nothing except waiting to start training and working.
Think I will take your advice will start visa but will not resign till have a start date. Have a friend that works for them and she really likes it so thats good news. Anyway good luck with your training and if you find anything else out let me know. Thanks
Hi I have just heard that if you do get called for the netjets europe interview in Lisbon its like you have the job. Can anyone tell me how true this is? I did pass the phone interview. They did tell me that I had an advantage as I speak a few languages and I do have VIP\corporate experience but how true is that? I am probably fussing about it because I really want the job. Anyone here going to lisbone soon for an interview. All kind of feedback would help me .....good or bad.
My friend works for them and she was the only person at the interview they took and there was lots of people there with lots of suitable experience ie netjets middle east.
