G550 Typrating

Hello,
can anybody give me some information regarding G550 rating in Dubai. Is there any chance to get learningmaterial in advance? I should do this rating later this year but I am not sure if I should leave my actual position as XLS commander (more than 8000h)

If your training with FSI, once you sign up and pay your deposit you'll get access to their online training materials via their app.

As you state Dubai, I guess it‘s CAE. But same applies. You‘ll get access a couple of month before via their App.

But maybe someone can help with a pdf version?

Why are you not sure about leaving your current position? Is the new position as FO?
I can’t see how looking into the books can make you come up with a decision, but maybe I‘m missing the point?!

Good luck with Dubai. It’s a GV sim not a G550! And it is always broken! And good luck with Gulfstream personalities!

CAE Dubai has a G550 sim. I think I heard it’s the oldest one in existence and from experience it’s pretty ropey. I much prefer FS SAV for training.
