Isle of Man bizjet tax
One snippet from tonight's panorama expose on offshore tax avoidance was that IOM authorities had issued tax refunds for 230 business jets (one belonging to Mr L Hamilton) Funnily enough, last time I was there there were no biz-jets to be seen at all!

It's a flag of convenience. Not a home base.
Not many Liberian-flagged ships in port in Monrovia either.
Lots of Delaware-registered companies have zero hours worked by employees in Delaware.

"It's a flag of convenience not a home base..". Yes. Thank you for making my point cazalet. "Convenience" in this context meaning, as with merchant shipping, minimal tax, regulatory oversight and employment rights.
