180 vs 120 minutes CJ604/5

Anyone operating EASA-reg Challengers with 180 minutes rather than 120 minutes?

On EASA website, it says a Challenger can use 180 minutes but needs "approval" though not as ETOPS. Hmmmmm. So on what basis would an EASA regulator approve the 180 minutes?

Thanks all!

It's called "NON-ETOPS" in my place. Basically it's an application to your NAA showing that the aircraft can safely be operated to such standards. Kind of a simplified ETOPS approval.
Oil consumption statistics would be a main part, a revised MEL another.
