AWO operations

Hi All

To clarify - your operator doesn't need to be approved for AWO operations if you are not operating lower than CAT I and don't need LVTO ?

But if you would like to be approved for only LVTO than operator need to certify for AWO ?

Thank you
Regards

Yes you do. You will also be required to prove your LVTO in case of ramp check so when I was a Head of Training in a previous existence I issues each pilot with a company LVTO certificate which was the size of their licence holder so it could be kept in their licence.
