AIR X CHARTER interview

Has anyone else that went to the Air X charter interview for cabin crew, STILL waiting to hear back two weeks later? They said they'd let us know either way by last week?!? I wont be offended if I didn't get the job, but I will be offended if they just aren't going to bother getting back to me! It's so rude and unprofessional, some girls traveled from different countries and paid a lot of money to attend the interview, so I hope they at least let them know!

Dear Flyingprincess,

Thank you for sharing this information.

We are very sorry and surprised to read this. The interview in London was held on 20th of August. All successful applicants were contacted shortly afterwards and all unsuccessful candidates were notified by email on Wednesday, 2nd September 2015.

It seems that for some reason you might have not received our email. It is our policy to inform all applicants of the outcome of their application, irrespective whether they made it through the selection process or not.

We would be happy to invite you to send an email to [email protected] to provide you with more information about your application but we are assuming that you do not wish to disclose your identity. The aforementioned email address could also have been used to follow up on your application, we usually do our best to answer to all emails within 24hrs.

Nevertheless, please accept our apologies if the service provided by our HR Department did not meet your expectations. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you once again for the interest shown in joining our team and for taking the time to meet us in London.

Regards,
Franklyn Brincat

There have been huge changes at Air X in the last year, it is not the same company it used to be for sure... It has also doubled in size in both its number of crew and aircraft, which in this day and age is quite remarkable and it is still expanding. Crew morale is very good as a whole and everyone gets paid on time.
From a flight attendant perspective, its a very busy schedule (never boring!), has a good rotation and the salary is competitive. Having been in the industry a good few years, I would say they are a young company with great potential especially when the industry itself is still trying to recover. Just my two cents...

Thanks for your response Franklyn, surprisingly enough I got an email a few hours after I posted on here. Better late than never I guess. No hard feelings, wishing you and the company every success!

Dear Franklyn,
If your answer also applies to the pilots that attended, I think something has gone wrong with your communications.
Like Flyingprincess - nothing heard since interview (it isn't in spam either). However a couple of days ago a friend (who was not invited to interview) got a "you were not successful" email.... think he'd already worked that out for himself, having not been asked to interview!
Maybe your staff have emailed the "not called to interview" candidates as opposed to "attended interview but not successful".
Anyway I think by now everybody has got the message despite no email.
