Ubair a.k.a Uber of Private Jets

On a similar concept of very famous app i.e. Uber, a new startup has been launched with a name of Ubair.
What's your views...Will it disrupt the existing private charter business ??

Well, looking at the information on their website it appears to me that they are merely brokers, and don't seem to have aircraft of their own.
So this means that they are using existing charter companies and living off a commision.... nothing wrong with that.
It may work out for them, it may not.
They may be an attractive source for clients who don't want to shop around.

Any pilot who thinks that it might be a good idea is similar to a turkey voting for Christmas. Uber are parasites, they own nothing and suck the blood of the industry they operate in.

Just got a comment back from my son, who works in the Bizjet management/charter industry..."they (Ubair) are expensive".

4500sm advertised for the Citation X, Falcon 50 etc... And 7000sm for a GIV, 601, 2000 or Legacy... Statute miles are not kilometers!

Also, what is a Hawker 00XP?

Anyway it's overpriced.
