Robert Weaver and Sky Ferry: A Ferry Bad Experience
Has anyone had any bad experiences with a company called Sky Ferry? I contacted Robert Weaver to deliver my lovely aircraft from Chicago to Eggelsbach in Germany where I would continue to my home in Macedonia. He quoted me $10500 for the delivery. The schedule was stated and I said that the registration document hadnt come as yet but he said he could ferry it using the pink slip. I now know this is not possible. He arranged to meet me in Chicago during the worst snow snorms in 50 years and I was supposed to fly with him to the east coast. He said this was an act of God and was out of his control. The next day he said we could fly in the circuit and when we did, he said there was something wrong with the engine. This aircraft had a brand new engine, avionics and bare metal respray. The company said the engine was fine but Mr Weaver said they were covering themselves and suggested another independant inspection. Reluctantly I agreed to pay for this and the new company stated the engine was fine and in fact the compressions were all uniform at 79psi.
Mr Weaver departed as he stated he had to attend a court case in the UK but he would return the following week. I had paid him an initial deposit of $3000 and he requested I pay him a further $3000 which I did and he would receive the rest on completion. The delivery was scheduled for the 1st of Feb but communications started to get harder and less frequent until eventually Mr Weaver stopped responding completely. I left messages and emails but I couldnt get him to contact me. Eventually I contacted another company to try and get my aircraft delivered and when I told them what had happened and they said they knew Mr Weaver and they would try to help by speaking to him. To my amazement, he told them he had not agreed to ferry the aircraft and had only gone to do a pre-purchase inspection and had only been paid an amount less than $4000. I have all of the evidence and I am more than prepared to prove everything I claim in this post.
Mr Weaver has threatened to sue me for slander and also send his Hungarian friends to have a word with me. Initially he offered to return me half of the money but then stated that because I had vented my anger and frustration stating only the truth, that he would now not return any money to me. I feel like I have been conned and defrauded. Especially when i am now aware that he has done this to a number of similar unsuspecting purchasers who are more than willing to share there stories. If Mr Weaver dare dispute anything that I have posted, then I will happilly posst the relevant evidence or supply everything to the moderatprs of this site. I am told by my advocate, thet in a case of slander, THE TRUTH IS AN ABSOLUTE DEFENCE!!!. Please if you have any additional facts post them as Robert Weaver should not be allowed to treat people this way and get away with it.
I was actually recently approached by this gentleman and I dont use that term loosely. When I heard of his experience I felt sorry for him and thought because I knew the person in question, I may be in a position to try and mediate. When I was told by Robert Weaver that a customer from Macedonia had approached him to fly to Chicago to carry out a pre-purchase inspection, I simply couldnt believe what I was hearing. I went back to the customer to explain what I had heard and in response he sent me all of the correspondence from Sky Ferry which I painstakingly read. I then went back to Mr Weaver and explained the evidence I had now gone over and in short he wasnt happy about the fact that I had found him out to be lying and stated it was nothing to do with me. I personally know of a number of cases very similar to the one above and I believe some of thos people involved in those cases will actually post true corroborated versions of what they experienced at the hands of Robert.
3 incidents spring to mind. 1st, PA-32 US to UK picked by RW. Spent a few days making short hops up the St Lawrence before being left in Ottowa. Part of the contract was for the aircraft to be tanked and a significant sum was paid over. Only evidence of an attempt to extend range were 10 x 5 gall plastic cans in back. Another pilot completed delivery in 4 days (Via Denmark) 2nd, Brand new tanked PA-28 BGR to EU. RW capt with a co!! A short flight before returning to BGR as RW was not happy with fuel flow/ oil pressure. Delivery completed by another pilot without incident. 3rd, Untanked Seneca, Goose to BGBW. Force landed in Narsaq due to fuel starvation. Winds forcast 080/40 G55 didn't seem to be factored into flight planning. There are more!
Mr aben Xhema contacted us to move his Pa38, what he forgot to mention was that he paid under half the money that was owed, and shortly after my arrival Ohare Intl closed down due to one of the worst snow storms on record.
Did Mr Xhema also forget to tell you all that the aircraft had no Insurance, wrongly filled registration forms and also the fact that his PA38 was only developing 2100RPM at full power, I have the A&P report.
I informed Mr Xhema that I would return to finish off his aircraft when it was finished, just before doing so he decided to send a number of rude emails to one of my brokers whilst I was still contracted to do the job for him.
We came to a partial refund agreement even after this slander but just before I was set to make the refund he decides to contact more brokers and make false statements. Now I can safely say the reason I am still in business is because of the quality of the work we do, bad news travels fast, so 6 years and still going strong speaks volumes.
Mr Xhema is a very rude individual and maybe if he spent his time acting like a professional he would be able to sort this, he rather spend his money on IL escorts, drink , drive his pals car without Insurance and make threats of slander and blackmail.
The reason I am refusing to refund part of the money he sent which barely covered two flight tickets, a week in hotels due weather and a aircraft that was only ready some 5 days after I arrived, IS that he has made blackmail threats and made contacts to my brokers. Before this I would of waived my fee and returned part of his funds despite his slander, but now he will face both criminal and civil charges as per my solicitors opinion.
He and his former Rugby thug of a ferry pilot shall have their day in court.
Over 100 "company" deliverys to date and you have 3 things to think of.
I am happy to answer your questions.
1) Piper Lance that sat in Ottawa after I was stiffed out of money and I ferry tank had been provided and not fitted due to the fact funds arrived late, this could of been dealt with in Goose, As per the cans in the aircraft, your point? Second ferry pilot screwed over and had to take the owner to court with my help.
2) PA28, you say the next pilot went witout incident, I have a report showing otherwise.
3) Seneca V, not one of ours and anybody who says otherwise will end up before a court for false slander. Two people already shall be shortly.
Mr Weaver, Rugby thug indeed. Ok lets look at FACTS. You turned up amidst the worst snow storm in history. Now as a professional pilot, did you have access to this forecast information or was it a freak occurence with no warning. I am sure when you are conducting a ferry flight this is something that you take into consideration to minimise down time. There is factual evidence showing Mr Xhema paid you exactly 2x payments of $3000usd. You told me on the phone that you had only gone to Chicago to do a pre purchase inspection and had received less than $4000 usd. Would you like Arben or I to start posting actual emails showing the exact discrepencies Robert? How far would you really like to push this. I think we now have a captive audience so if you really want things to be exposed and let people make up their own minds as to whose integrity is intact then I am more than happy to do so. I expect that there will be a number of people addidng there own accounts of experiences they have had with you, I guess you will be warning them off and calling them liars too or maybe even sending them threatening solicitors letters as you did me. Hopefully you will proceed and I certainly look forward to our day in court where people will have the opportunity to face you and present there evidence and testimony. Lets just consider thuggish behaviour for a moment. You threatening to send your Hungarian friends to Arbens house to shut him up? Would that not be considered thuggish behaviour? Also I suggest you check my professional rugby career and you will see that my disciplinary record wasnt as bad as you suggest?
Robert, just to clarify, are you stating that you were not on this aircraft N344SE and listed as a crew member. Please respond before I make my next post... This will be interesting???
I was not PIC , again as you have issues understanding simple English. Maybe I should change the wording on not "one of ours",
The Senca V is a single crew aircraft, it was not flown by me dear boy, being in the right hand seat makes no change to this David.
As per Hungarian friend, again making up words David, I said I would have him serve the correct papers in person for a local hearing if required and explain to him in detail of the situation, this was from a financial point rather than having to get someone from the Uk to do it.
I have no intention to get into a slang match with you and this shall be my last post, looking forward to court.
Defamation—also called calumny, vilification, traducement, slander (for transitory statements), and libel (for written, broadcast, or otherwise published words)—is the communication of a statement that makes a claim, expressly stated or implied to be factual, that may give an individual, business, product, group, government, or nation a negative image. It is usually a requirement that this claim be false and that the publication is communicated to someone other than the person defamed (the claimant).[1] In common law jurisdictions, slander refers to a malicious, false,[2][not specific enough to verify] and defamatory spoken statement or report, while libel refers to any other form of communication such as written words or images.[3] Most jurisdictions allow legal actions, civil and/or criminal, to deter various kinds of defamation and retaliate against groundless criticism. Related to defamation is public disclosure of private facts, which arises where one person reveals information that is not of public concern, and the release of which would offend a reasonable person. "Unlike [with] libel, truth is not a defense for invasion of privacy."[4][not verified in body] False light laws are "intended primarily to protect the plaintiff's mental or emotional well-being."[5] If a publication of information is false, then a tort of defamation might have occurred. If that communication is not technically false but is still misleading, then a tort of false light might have occurred.[5] In most civil law jurisdictions, defamation is dealt with as a crime rather than a tort.[6] A person who destroys another's reputation may be referred to as a famacide, defamer, or slanderer. The Latin phrase famosus libellus means a libelous writing.
As has been mentioned previously, the truth is an absolute defence against slander and I welcome your case against me should you bring it. I am positively excited by the prospect of being able to present and allow these unsuspecting customers who allegedly have experienced significant loss at your hands, to be allowed to present there respective cases.
Ok Robert, I see you want to try and confuse things and make it look like I am not being honest. I think the best thing then is we look at one point at a time then I can post additional information on each point to discredit you. Firstly did you tell me that the aircraft could be flown internationally using the pink registration slip?????
I can't just sit by anymore and not say anything. It absolutely makes me sick that he referred to me as a liar in some correspondences shared with me by other pilots, when I am as honest as they come. I never lie to my clients and I never steal from anybody. I disclose any and all information that may affect a job or a relationship with my clients, my partners, and my friends in this very small community. Every piece of information that I have disclosed about Robert Weaver was not slanderous or malicious, but simply the truths I witnessed in his actions. It infuriates me when I found out he threatened taking a crowbar to me. Therefore, I'm engaging him just this once, and will disclose only the FACTS. It doesn't matter what the contents are in his replies, after this post I will not respond to him. I will forward and cc anything you post, however, to any and all constituents that may be hurt by him.
For the record, I am a 6000 hour Learjet captain (some people refer to me as the 10,000 hour Learjet captain, which is inaccurate). I've been flying for 20 years and now co-own an aircraft logistics company. Robert Weaver will claim that I owe him a lot because he "got me into this business." I guarantee that after my two unfortunate run-ins with Robert, I knew to get as far away from him as possible or face losing my reputation...and possibly my life. After this post, he'll come back at me with all kinds of comments to attempt to discredit me. Please read them and join me in a laugh.
Without further ado, Mr. Robert Weaver...
On N50925, a Cessna 206 that was to be delivered to Morocco, you hired me as a "copilot" to assist you on the trip. My conditions of going with you were that you were to pay me my measly $1000 copilot fee, plus the near $1700 in fuel and expenses you promised you would reimburse from the DA40 trip you "trained" me on. A quick note about that "training," I finally had to intercede on that trip because I saw you make mistake after mistake in the treatment of that poor aircraft, and in your planning for weather.
I finally finished the DA40 trip to Denmark without you, and without pay, and couldn't complete the trip to the UK because of the damaged transponder that occurred when you continually started the aircraft in winter conditions with the avionics master switch on. I kept pulling the avionics circuit breaker on the right side of the plane because I knew you would turn everything on prior to cranking the engine, and I tried my best to protect the components. Anyway, after being on that trip for three weeks (10 days of which in Greenland because you refused to take my advice and hangar the plane the day before we left in -30ºC temperatures), I left the plane in Denmark due to the anticipated long delay to repair the damaged transponder. I had had enough.
Back to N50925... When the plane was left in Goose Bay due to the leaking fuel tank, I heard you promise Mohamed (the client) that you would return in one week to complete the trip. The thing is Robert, I had flown two (partial) trips with you and have witnessed you steal a person's hat, brag about writing bad checks, and personally experienced the drama involved with you not reimbursing me for the DA40 trip. First you would tell me you wired it, then when that didn't work you told me you sent the money via FedEx. But that never arrived and you never gave me a tracking number despite my repeated attempts to have you send me one. Then you said you'd Western Union it, but that never happened. Then you said you would send it by Royal Air Freight, but that never arrived.
I also heard you tell Mohamed that you were an A&P, which I know you're not. After all these lies I KNEW that you had no intention of returning to the Cessna 206 in the proposed time of one week when the repairs would be complete. So we all went home on Mohamed's dime. Now I don't know what you were up to back in the UK, but I'll tell you what I did. I bought a Garmin 696 and some other equipment. I also acquired a second immersion suit and asked a pilot friend of mine if we wanted to fly a Cessna 206 to Africa with me. I then called all the vendors I expected to buy fuel and hotel rooms from and put together a very accurate quote for Mohamed. I then waited for the week to pass and for the phone call I knew I was going to get from Mohamed. Sure enough, he called and was distraught that you were asking for another $12,000 to complete the ferry flight to Morocco. I told Mohamed what I had been up to that week, to fire you, and to let me complete the job along with my friend to meet the insurance company's requirement for a copilot. We completed the trip. Oh yeah, and I never asked for one penny more than the measly $1000 you gave me to be your copilot. That's because I felt so bad, so sorry for poor Mohamed, who had spent a fortune on you and others who failed to finally bring him his airplane.
THAT is the kind of honest and good person I am. I was out of pocket for a new Garmin 696, another immersion suit, and an HF radio, and all I was paid was $1000. Not to mention I STILL have not been reimbursed the $1700 you had promised and to this day still owe me.
One more thing on the topic of N50925... Why, Robert, is that plane listed on your website as a delivery you completed? Go ahead everyone, check out Aircraft Delivery - Sky Ferry and see the picture of the blue Cessna 206 that I took with my camera that Robert DID NOT deliver to Morocco. By the way, take a moment to admire the Sky Ferry logo that I designed for Robert, without pay, because I was betrayed into thinking I was going to be a part of a great organization. If Robert contradicts this statement, I'm the only one with the master Photoshop file of this logo.
Okay, on the juicy stuff now. Thieves. Robert, you call me a thief, yet have never stolen. While in Goose Bay with Mohamed's Cessna 206 and the leaking fuel tank, you and I bumped into a very kind ferry pilot named Kay Alley. She took pity on Robert and I who had no charts and no GPS for an ocean crossing. By the way, Robert asked me before I left Los Angeles if I had a GPS and I told him I didn't, and that he needed to acquire one. When we met in Florida to pick up the airplane, he (the captain) didn't have any charts to speak of and no GPS. We ended up navigating up to Goose Bay with a hiking GPS I brought as a backup. I told Robert that we were not coasting out until we had a proper aviation GPS.
Well, Kay offered to loan to Robert a spare Garmin 396 that she had in a brand new Cessna 206 that she was taking to Korea. (Kay, I never forget the kindness of strangers or where they're going in the world.) People, you should have seen Robert's face light up like a tot in a toy store. It was at that moment, I kid you not, that I had the thought that he never intended to give the GPS back. But I'm a stupid and naive person, and I never expect people to be so intentionally mean so as to premeditate theft, even after Kay told us that she would be in a lot of trouble if her boss knew she loaned the GPS out.
When it was decided that Robert and I would fly back to our homes while the plane was being repaired, I actually attempted to retrieve the GPS from Robert so I could FedEx it (with tracking numbers, of course) back to Kay. Well folks, Robert hid certain components of the GPS from me, so if I was to return it to Kay, it would be sans battery and carrying case. He even went so far as to say he had no idea where the battery and carrying case were, but that he had spares in his office at Coventry Airport, and he would be so uncharacteristically kind so as to provide Kay with a new battery and case. I conceded to Robert's good faith and decided that it's his bad karma if he doesn't return the GPS to Kay. Oh yeah, I almost forgot, Robert took a very nice pair of David Clark headsets out of the airplane before heading back to the UK. Those headsets, as well as all the money he took to ferry that airplane belong to Mohamed.
You know the rest of the story pertaining to the Cessna 206 from this point; I went home, bought the 696, equipment, and enlisted my friend to finish the trip with me if Mohamed would (and did) call.
Two months later Kay called me and was very upset. She had not received the GPS in the mail as was promised her. She was angry with me and I had to explain that I didn't have the GPS, that Robert was the one who borrowed it, was the self-appointed custodian to the equipment, and was also the one who promised to send it back to her. Then next few minutes were strange because she said she spoke to Robin Leabman and that he said Robert had it. Thing is I'M Robin Leabman and she hadn't spoken to me yet. Kay and I both concluded that Robert Weaver, when contact by Kay Alley, told her that he was Robin Leabman, and that she needed to call Robert Weaver who had the GPS.
Are you following me here, folks? Robert Weaver told Kay that he was me.
It took some time, but I finally convinced Kay that I was the real Robin Leabman, and that the British fellow was Robert Weaver. Kay, and for all those who have not met me or who might have been fooled by similarities in our names (but not our character), I have created a very simple table to show you who is who:
I would go into character traits and flaws, but that would probably take this post to a whole new level, and one of the recipients might try and prove that those traits and flaws are "slanderous," so I'll leave them out. Remember, this post is strictly about facts. But factually speaking, the guy on the left, Robin Leabman (me), is always smiling, almost always happy, friendly, kind, and is a bright light in the world who is alway giving and trusting... even to strangers.
When Kay was trying to retrieve her GPS, she was getting information from the real Robert Weaver that he had sent the GPS via FedEx but never sent her a tracking number, then when he did it didn't even have enough alphanumeric characters to be a proper tracking number. Then when the shipment failed, he said he sent it via Royal Air Freight and provided a tracking number. But Kay couldn't find any website to enter the tracking number into. If anyone hasn't tried it yet, Google "Royal Air Freight" and see if you can find a shipping company.
Do any of these actions by Robert Weaver sound familiar?
Finally, our good friend Dustin Rabe, who is no longer with us, had a couple drinks with Robert Weaver in a bar in Bangor last March or April. He asked Robert a bunch of questions and got him to tell some stories about the two (partial) flights he and I flew together. I know that Dustin might have pretended to not like me, but it was only to befriend Robert long enough to see what he would say. Robert told Dustin all the same stories that I had told Dustin about Robert. Except when Robert told the stories, he made me out to be the incompetent pilot with a drinking problem. Dustin was texting me all this while in the bar having those drinks with Robert. Up until the moment Robert Weaver reads this post, he thought Dustin was texting his girlfriend. Thank you, Dustin, for giving us all the last laugh. You will be missed, my friend.
Folks, you need to know I am an absolute light-weight. I usually drink wine, but my wife will tell you it takes me about two hours to finish one glass. And if I have a beer, it's usually just one because I'll pass out if I drink two. I'm such a light-weight that it's actually a disgrace. I hate alcohol, I can't stand drunks, and to be called a drunk when I'm far from it is just simply cruel.
I leave you all with this. Never allow yourself to be put into a position where he owes you money and never let him write you a check. Don't trust one word that comes out of his mouth, because honesty, integrity, and respect are not in his vocabulary.
I attached the reimbursement form I created and have emailed to Robert Weaver numerous times. He may deny it, but I have every email I sent him requesting the money in my archive.
Thank you for your time, and best of luck navigating through a world where people like Robert Weaver roam free.
My hungarian contact shall be making a visit to you soon anyhow with the relevant papers and solutions . Your one sick sad little man. You terminated the contract, you tried to me after we made a agreement.Sent using BlackBerry® from Orange
OK Piper Lance. So you are saying that it "could have been sorted out in Goose" Please name me the mechanic who would fit the tank assuming it was viable to ship it and the DAR who would sign off the 337. Cans in back. Why if the intention was to fit a ferry tank would you purchase 10 plastic cans and fill the cabin, forward hold & rear compartment with them. PA-28 The aircraft was sucessfully delivered by an extremly experienced ferry pilot who is a personal friend of mine. The difference is good ferry pilots overcome obstacles to get the job done in the safest and most expeditious and economical way. They don't just jump ship. Seneca . Fuel Starvation So you were on Board? You claim not have been PIC. So you, a seasoned/experienced ferry pilot went along as a passenger. Allowed the Captain( Name/Experience?) to embark on a flight to one of the most hazardous airports around. Forcast winds that were available to the PIC/crew, pax, people on board who might just have had a vested interest in staying alive! showed 080/40 G 55kts. What were you thinking??!!
Hey Lurcherman, the second instance you mention, I was there!!! I was with a customer in Bangor and I had met up with Dustin Rabe who was ferrying a brand new C206 to Germany. I could get the exact dates if needed but Dustin and I were stood in Maine Aero talking when Robert Weaver walked across and said Hi. This was actually the first time I had ever met him. He was with another pilot who it later turned out was being shown the ropes by Mr Weaver. His name was Paul. He had over 15000 hrs and was typed on 747's and a whole host of other things. He seemed a decent bloke to be fair. A while later I saw Robert and Paul putting a lot of luggage in this aircraft which was tanked. Now I was in a tanked Archer and I had packed up a large amount of stuff including the seats and interior and pretty much aything that could be sent that wasnt absolutely essential to the trip and I offered my advice that they should do the same. Now this aircraft looked heavy and I mean heavy. For those who know Mr Weaver, its probably fair to say he is a robust character at least in appearances and I remember Dustin and I thinking this poor little 160hp aircraft would struggling lifting off, even though it was certified to operate at plus 30% of gross max with the tank installation. I departed slightly before them and observed a climb rate of 400ft/min with the stall warner bleeting for the first 5 minutes of the flight en route to St Johns. When I landed, Dustin called me and he was in hysterics, he stated that RW and Paul had departed and returned some 10 minutes later (lucky that the landing gear held out?) and went straight into Maine Aero, Telfords as it was then and stated the aircraft was burning too much oil?? This was a brand new aircraft. This aircraft was being delivered to a flight school in Belgiun abd it arrived safely the following week, as Lurcherman quite correctlt states without incident.
There are a number of other instances springing to light and there are a few more awaiting approval. I can personally state that I have been contacted by three customers in the past who have all told of similar experiences. One was a C206 which had alledgedly been abandoned in I believe White Waltham but I would be prepared to stand corrected on the location and the destination which could have been Zambia or Morroco. I do however remember the dealer in the US as they were passed on to me by one of the biggest brokers in the UK. The other was a really nice guy named Youssef from Abidjan. He had paid for his aircraft to be delivered and the aircraft was actually ferried from Texas to Bangor and I was actually by pure coincidence in Bangor when this PA32 arrived. I had met the pilot once before briefly and we struck up a conversation. There was a couple of issues with the aircraft which I assisted the pilot with and we managed to get maintenance to rectify. ( Front strut oleo thing needed adjusting as they nearly all seem to do. ) Whilst discussing routing it appeared the pilot had only been given from his employer, very limited navigational data and was actually using as his main nav source, a garmin pilot 3 no less. Now this aircraft had, wait for it! A GNS 480 and an MX200. In my book, this is as good as it gets until you go glass. I asked why this wasnt been utilised, and the response was that the company allegedly wouldnt sanction the $300+ tag for an international data trip kit data-card. I printed out all of the relevant en route and approach charts which I was using and gave a paper trip kit for the entire route to the pilot. The pilot departed as I was filling up the Acclaim that I was in and as I had squared up in the FBO and was returning to depart, I saw the same aircraft taxying back on to the ramp. He had departed and found thet the GPS 3 had frozen so was forced to return. He managed to get this fixed and departed the following day. He delivered the aircraft to Coventry I believe and then the aircraft was later flown to one of the channel islands where it was reported to the customer that there was an alternator problem. It is alledged that the customer was then asked to hand over an additional sum of money which I am told he did and some days later, the aircraft was again moved and ended up a few hundred miles down the road in Nantes. Alledgedly it was reported to the ATC that there was a control problem with the aircraft and it was grounded because of this. An engineer and I believe a DAR had to inspect the aircraft before it could be flown again. Alledgedly there was no fault found with the aircraft but again I am told the customer was asked for additional funds due to delay fees and maintenance. Eventually the customer and a friend picked up the aircraft and flew it as far as Morocco when a paperwork delay forced them to have to return to the Cote D'Ivoire. This was the time when I was called upon to try and resurrect the delivery. The customer stated that he had been very happy with the original pilot who did the transatlantic segment so I suggested he may be better advised to try and get him to complete. I am not sure if thats what in fact he did but he now has his aircraft back home after a very expensive exercise. One thing which I found very interesting was something the customer mentioned to me in later correspondence regarding a navigation log. I couldnt believe what he was telling me until I saw it with my own eyes. I am not for one minute suggesting this was the naviagation log that was used on the trip but interesting nonetheless:???
If you check the dates for the PA32, you will see that they coincide with this delivery or part delivery.
Robert Weaver of Skyferry.....www.skyferry.t83.net....This incompetent pilot has done the same on another occasion if you look at the website above he is pictured standing next to the Aircraft N 44369 PA 32-300 Las Vegas to Nantes, France....It was supposed to be delivered to Abijan, Ivory Coast!! I took it from Las Vegas to Coventry............he managed to get it to Nantes and then had some sort of "emergency" stating control problems? Which it did not have and was later cleared by the FAA A&P...the engineer found that the auto pilot was still in the 'on' position......
Weaver had asked for another 8500 US $ on top of his original upfront money 15500US$ when the a/craft was in Coventry, which was paid......sound familiar conning *******!! Even though the aircraft was not delivered by Weaver, no money was ever paid back to the owner or any receipts given as to the costs incurred. You dishonest ******!! The owner fired him after the Nantes incident; Weaver said he would waive his 25% cancellation fee in this case as a favour........some balls eh! All this is in emails as evidence, should it be needed
I was contacted by the owner of the aircraft some months after I had dropped it in Coventry I was very sorry for the way he had been treated having been subjected to the conning and dishonest ways that Robert Weaver seems to think is the way to do business….and took the plane to Abidjan. Last month I was contacted by Weaver in a very irate manner as someone on this site called ‘Spitfire’ posted similar to what happened to me and Weaver thinking it was me fired off a damning set of emails how he was going to ‘get me’ and wanted to call around to see me as I was spreading S*** about him, I agreed to meet him so that he could pay me the money and fees that he owes to me some 3500+ UK Pounds from last year for ferrying aircraft for him, he did similar with another pilot I have since found out. I took him to court, won the Judgement he sold up and moved!! You can run, and you did……but you cannot avoid the Law forever……even in the USA where you say you are planning to move…..makes it easier to get the FAA GADO Inspectors to look at your operation….interesting.
If anyone knows where he has moved to post it here, the Court wants to know.
You keep mentioning taking people to court BUT don’t turn up to your own court appearances in order to prove us all wrong! Why is that ? Let me have your solicitors name and address there’s a good boy…I wish to send him some evidence.
Now Robert you can threaten me again because this time it is me and not ‘Spitfire’ who is naming you….as a dishonest man with no morals.
The moderators of this site removed that post back in February, it should have been left because it was most probably true, so come back ‘Spitfire’ join in again.
Another photograph on your website you failed to deliver was the Twin Otter to Ottawa, Canada I did that one as well for you, which you scared yourself in as you had NO CHECKLIST of any kind and did not know what “Bleed Air” did which is why you were freezing up….You Richard Cranium!! AS you only have a Multi-Engine Rating VFR only!! according to the FAA Website Give up while you can Robert before you crash and hurt some one on the ground…you have already had a near miss into Nasasarauq in a Seneca that you told me you ditched due to an engine blowing up, and it is documented as Fuel Starvation on the report.....and that you were picked out of the water by an Sikorsky S61N you never mentioned that you were with another pilot who was the PIC.....do you ever tell the truth? What were you doing going into Iceland in IMC conditions in a Twin Otter? That is illegal, FAA Please note.......Weaver is laughing at you with total disregard for the FAR's and he should be looked at. His address has not been updated which is also against the regulations.
FAR Part 61.60 The FAA, in Federal Aviation Regulation part 61.60, requires that pilots report a change of permanent mailing address within 30 days of moving. Note that this only applies to permanent address change A pilot cannot use the privileges of his certificate unless he complies with this regulation.
30 days and you moved 3 months ago.....so all your flights have been in breach of FAR Part 61.60..............I rest my case, members of the Jury, have you come to a verdict?

LMAO!!! He told me the EXACT same story when I was being "trained" by him. Then I saw the report and realized he was full of it. By the way, he told me he was the PIC.
