Netjets Europe
Hi all,
Was just wondering if anybody knows anything about Netjets Europe at the moment? I'm in lowcost now and bored stiff (flew private before but with a very unstable company so I left). I'm thinking about Emirates because you will get more intercontinental experience which will be good. If Netjets will start hiring again within say two years though, I probably stay put. Anybody any info?
Much appreciated!

Probably not going to hire within 2 years. In fact, probably won't hire for several years.

Some are, we don't know how many, however, we're still over crewed.
Personally, get rid of a few directors and we'd have plenty of cash for the crews.

Another load of lay offs announced down to approx 120 aircraft from the boom time of nearly 200.
Crew totally overstaffed and yes we could do with getting rid of a few senior managers, company cars and benefits would help.
I see no light at the tunnel at present?
Its no suprise though they have ordered new aircraft they make such good deals fail to take all the options and sell the odd plane here and there at profit.
Anyone thinking of joining think again it will not happen for at least 3 years.
Sorry for being so negative but its the truth.

i heard netjets was deducting legitimate expenses, hotels etc, paid for using their company credit card, from their last salaries before leaving the company on the voluntary redundacy package. I'm told it is because their accounting dept is behind and hasn't processed the receipts although received in the office. Isn't this kind of illegal?

I'm afraid I cannot comment on that topic.
