Rates for ferry pilots

What are the rates for a ferry pilot to fly a SE a/c from US to Europe?

Cheers!

ferry pilot

The cost of a single to ferry it would be either a 1000 to 2000 dollars that is plus airline ticket back, but ask for 50% up front first and the money in your account before the trip takes place and they pay for all fuel costs and landing fees so ask for a credit card for this and if they don't pay the cost of your trip do not hand the aircraft over or keep the aircraft logs.

The standard rate these days is USD 2000 plus al expenses. For a P46T for example, it would probably be about USD 11,000. Do NOT encourage someone or yourself, to fly a light piston single without a ferry tank, raft, survival suit and a HF radio OR a satfone. EPIRB is essential and then you hope you never have to use any one it. The costs for these are in addition to the costs otherwise mentioned.

Thanks for info, guys! It was really helpful. Another question if you don't mind. Do I need any special training for ferry flying? Are there any special insurance requirements?

Cheers!
