Overnight in Magadan

Any body could indicate a comfortable hotel in Magadan UHMM ...if any ???

I cannot help with the hotel request but I have landed at Magadan for fuel a number of times. We carried a Russian / English speaking navigator who would have found a good hotel if we had stayed.

The weather can get your attention, snow, blizzards, temps minus 35 degree centigrade and lower, otherwise, quite a good Russian airport to go through.

Now, I'm not going to claim to be an authority on Magadan. I once stayed there and had about 6 hrs to grab some sleep and it was the worst hotel experience I had ever had anywhere by a massive margin - it was disgusting - and I've been in some pits in Russia.

If I ever return I shall elect to stay on the a/c unless some serious assurance is given to the standard of the hotel.
