I'm pretty sure who Aslak is talking about. I know both of these guys, and it is a big surprise to me if they are actually "experienced FEMALE captains". Or they just don't shave their legs...

... invitation for interview ....

I applied to Global Jet Luxembourg some time ago and had actually forgotten about it all .... but received invitation for an interview in Luxembourg tomorrow - wednesday 13.April. I called the chief pilot, mr Michel Coulomb, on his cell-phone. was then presented with the "choice" of captaincy on the GEX or the 604 ...

Two crews per airplane giving two weeks on, two weeks off ... 8-9000 Euro per month with base Geneva ....

All splendid ...

He promsed to call me back to confirm transportation and so on ...

Well ... he has not come back to me yet ... 3 days later ...

Anybody else have the same experience with them .... ?

Pilot life at Global Jet Luxembourg

Hello,

I would like to get some input from you guys flying with Silver Arrows regarding your satisfaction with your job(Roster, salary, general T´s and C´s).

I have been contacted by GJL and I am considering really seriously about the possibility to join GJL as a Captain.

So could you, please, post some facts and feelings here or send me a private message.

Thank you in advance!

Which plane? I know they are looking for GLEX Copilots. They have quiet many of these beasts now. Six, Seven who knows. Most pilots have 15 on 15 off. The company is ok! Its not a great salary they pay, at least for F/Os. The Capt salary is allright I think.

Global Jet

Life at Global Jet....

I have been with them for the past 4 years and enjoy the company very much.

Yes we have a few Global's and more on the way, furthermore other types are also due for delivery. Expanding at a great rate.

Depending on the fleet you are employed on will depend if you work a 15/15 or 20/10 roster.

I am not sure what they are offering as a salary for F/O's but the pay for Captains is just above industry standard plus 90 Euro's per diem per day away from your home base.

So to sum it up, for me it's a great company with alot of pontential. But it's like any job suits some people and not others.

Keep your nose clean do as your told and then life will be good!!

That sounds like a good and fair comment to me from ADG. Flew with him for quite a long time and had some serious good laughs (Francfort among others.....)

I was with Global for 4 years and got some really good flying experience across the world (especially winter in Russia) and on nice equipment.
Nice people, and good atmosphere.

Would have appreciated a bit more roster stability, but hey can't have it all. Hopefully they have sorted out these problems by now. The salary as F/O was average, and really good as Skipper.

As far as I am concerned it was the perfect stepping stone. I am now enjoying a different career and don't regret having been a GJ lux pilot.

Good Luck.

Hm cant find anything on the webpage of FI.
Otherwise i heard it is a good company.
FO Salary is slightly below and CDR Salary is market standard.
Mostly 14 days on and off.
Plus 90 € Per Diem.
Are you looking for the left or right seat.
I heard they want a lot of hours if you want the CDR seat.

Hey thanks for the quick reply,

The ad is actually in the magazine (Apr 25 - May 1)

actually I'm looking for a left seat, hours will not be a problem.

I'll contact them and see what they'll have to say

Thanks again,
fluf

Flufdriver and SF 35:

I think they have Globals, 5 of 'em. Demanding, but fair operation.

FI Ad-Global Jet Luxembourg

Hello,

There is an ad in F I regarding pilots wanted for a company which operates a B767 and fleet of business jets.

The operators identity doesnt seem to be obvious but may be Global Jet Luxembourg.

Ive done a search on the company and looked at their website etc.

Could someone confirm this and perhaps give their opinion on working for them. (B767 Captain more specifically).

Many thanks

Snoop GlobalJet LUX

Anybody out there to share some information about T&Cs at GlobalJet Lux, especially on the BBJ?
I´ve heard they are looking for people right now...and it seems to me a nice operation. 2 weeks ON / 2 weeks OFF is not bad. Especially if "your" owner is not a frequent flyer
Thanks.
